Production Scanning requirements
Production scanning system requirements for ccScan are for maximum performance.
Use a fast scanner exceeding 100 PPM or 200 IPM (images per minute duplex). Production scanning or importing normally include barcode detection, OCR conversion as well as automation features. To maximize throughput, use a new or 1 – 2-year-old PC computer with a 3.5 – 4.2 GHz or higher processor speed, 6 to 12 core processor, fast bus speed, 8-16 GB memory and a 250+ GB SATA hard drive or a 250 GB Solid State Drive with at least 25 GB free. Windows 10 or 11 should be used.
The network interface card and network bandwidth should be a minimum of 1 – 2 Gbps.
