Windows System Requirements
ccScan® is a Microsoft Windows desktop application. It runs on Windows 10 and 11. ccScan does not work on Windows RT, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, IOS or Android OS but will run on Virtual Client Machines on these platforms hosting the supported versions of Windows. Running ccScan on any end-of-life operating system such as Windows 7 or XP is not supported.
ccScan is a desktop application because of complexities controlling TWAIN-based scanners or multi-function printers, of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and of optimizing ccScan for multiple processor cores. ccScan is prohibited from running on a Windows Server because of licensing issues.
